Hi Cake Friends! How many of you have ever had the frustrating experience of trying to color your fondant or buttercream gray... only to have it turn out purple? Well, this just happened to me recently when I was making my latest cake. The entire cake needed to be covered in gray fondant, but for some reason when I blended white fondant with black gel color it turned a crazy shade of lavender! Thank you so much your tip just saved my fondant and saved me a trip to the store to try to come back and do it again and come back up with the same purple thank you so much for sharing this information!
